I'm here to get to know you and advocate for you and your story. You're looking to capture a moment in your life and I'd love to be a witness to it.
This is your story, your life, and your legacy. I've been documenting human life going on eight years and it's always been about telling the truth. We take photos to freeze time, to be able to remember what was happening for that one millisecond in our history. I want to help you remember whatever time in your life you're wanting to transcribe in photos. Whether it be a wedding, the birth or adoption of a child, the graduation of another, the gathering of the whole clan, or maybe just because you're feeling cute. Let me help you leave your legacy. The photos you receive from me will not be unique because I sprinkled some magic dust and made them beautiful, they will be that because your story is unique and beautiful and worthy of being remembered. The first and last and really, only thing I want you to know about me as your photographer is that I am here for you, and only you. I have no agenda, I have no selfish plan to you use you as my muse to propel my business, I have no script that I think you should follow.
I'm here to witness and tell your story, truthfully. I'm here to serve you, exactly where you're at.
I'm right there with you. This is my cute, curly-headed other half, Colten. He's also a storyteller via cinematography and sometimes hops over to the dark side to help me.
Since we started dating, we've always taken pictures of EVERYTHING. In college it was to try to be too cool and trendy on the Instagram, but once it started getting real for us that being photographers could be like, a career thing, we realized how thankful we were to have so many memories documented (bad filters or not). A trusted photographer friend captured our wedding season and continues to do so post wedding day, and it has clicked even more for me how invaluable those photos are.
Life is short and fast. Photos do a beautiful thing of slowing down moments and making them glow.

Fell in love with my best friend and shot my very first wedding the next year.
Married my best friend and finally knew what it meant to be on the other side of things.
Quit my 9 - 5 and made the jump to chase this amazing dream of capturing human life in all it's real and wonderful glory.

I understand the complete responsibility and hold in high regard the honor it would be to be your photographer. This is a sacred time for you and I promise to treat it that way. Even though I may have had whatever number of experiences before yours, I recognize that this is your first, and I will treat it as uniquely your experience to document.
